We know it’s a bit early to start thinking about the holiday season, but we do have some great concerts to help you ring in the season.

Early Music Vancouver brings Handel’s Messiah to the Kay Meek on Dec 7, a collaboration with the Vancouver Chamber Choir and The Pacific Baroque Orchestra. It will also feature soprano Sherezade Panthaki, alto Allyson McHardy, tenor Nicholas Scott, and bass Jonathan Adams, conducted by Alexander Weimann. Tickets: $29 – $68

On Dec 14, Musica Intima presents In Winter’s House. Centering around Indian-American composer Reena Esmail’s ‘A Winter Breviary,’ the program traces a journey towards the longest night of the year, the solstice, and honours the dark while celebrating the return of the light. Tickets: $19 – $45.

The Vancouver Academy of Music Symphony Orchestra presents How the Grinch Stole Christmas on Dec 17, an extraordinary concert experience that traverses the realms of holiday cheer and classical brilliance. Tickets: $19 – $27
