A tea party in support of the Liz Byrd Legacy Fund
Please join us for an afternoon of zen elegance, connection with friends and fundraising in memory of our friend, Liz Bryd.
Experience the refined atmosphere and tastes of Evon Wang's beautiful Teahouse in Ambleside. Evon's fragrant tea comes from her farm in the Yun Nan Province of China. Tea will be served with exquisite fare from Evon's kitchen.
Funds will be donated to the Kay Meek Arts Centre through the Liz Byrd Legacy Fund at The West Vancouver Foundation.
Liz Byrd Legacy Fund
A prominent West Vancouver resident, and revered volunteer community leader, Liz Byrd was instrumental in successfully advocating for the creation of a performing arts centre that would become the Kay Meek. In recognition of Liz Byrd's foundational role, and her passion of performing arts education for young people, the Kay Meek Arts Centre has set up the Liz Byrd Legacy Fund at the West Vancouver Foundation in her honour. Proceeds from this fund will be granted to the Kay Meek Arts Centre to support programs in Liz's memory.
