How to sign up for shifts

Every month, the volunteer coordinator will send out a Survey that includes all of the events for the following month. Select all the shifts that you are available to volunteer for and submit the form before the deadline. Following the deadline, the Volunteer Coordinator will assign shifts based on the expected audience numbers and event requirements. Selecting a shift does not guarantee you will be assigned that shift.

The availability survey is usually available in the second week of the month for the following month (around April 12 for the month of May). We try to have the schedule posted by the third week of the month (around April 20 for the month of May).

Finding Your Own Replacement

When you sign up for a date, you are considered available. If your plans change after you sign up, you will now be expected to find your own replacement. The process is simple:

Step 1: Phone / email another volunteer and ask if they can swap or cover your shift.
Step 2: Send an email to [email protected]. Let us know the show, the date and who is covering your shift.
Step 3: The FOH supervisor or the Volunteer Coordinator will confirm the change within a couple of days.

Complimentary Tickets

We are pleased to offer complimentary tickets for our dedicated volunteers.

How it works:

  • Tickets can be requested no earlier than 3 months prior to the event.
  • You must have volunteered in the past 2 months.
  • Tickets are only available on a first come, first serve basis.
  • We have a limited number of tickets for each performance we can grant. For client events, we are limited to 2 tickets in total. Requests are not guaranteed.
  • If we do not have tickets available, we are happy to add you to a wait list if something becomes available.

Step 1: Fill out the form below or send an email to [email protected]. Let us know the show, the date and how many tickets (up to 2) you would like to see.
Step 2: The Volunteer Coordinator or Director of Venue Services will confirm or deny your request based on availability within a couple of days. If you are approved, your ticket(s) will be emailed to you.

Volunteer Complimentary Ticket Request

We are very pleased to offer four complimentary tickets to performances each season. Concession volunteers can receive an additional four complimentary tickets for a total of eight tickets per season. Tickets are dependent on availability and you will receive a confirmation email once the tickets have been booked. Please note that you must have had a volunteer shift in the season to qualify for complimentary tickets.
