Drawing from folk heroes like Pete Seeger and Woodie Guthrie, Luke’s gentle folk guitar and stirring lyrics evoke a heartfelt cry for change
Folk singer Luke Wallace is a man on a mission, inspired by his home on the Coast Salish Territory here in British Columbia. He uses his songwriting to champion environmental causes and inspire positive change.
His latest album, 2024’s The Dandelion Resistance, is a rallying cry. With impassioned lyrics and gentle folk guitar, his music is a reminder that we can join forces and spark something powerful enough to reshape and transform the world.
Performing and speaking at events such as the Paris COP21 conference and The United Nations Conference on Water in New York, Luke’s unique brand of politically charged folk has earned him a reputation as a modern-day Pete Seeger.
“Luke Wallace very much loves and appreciates where he comes from: BC and the Coast Salish Territory, and he defends that territory in song with passionate style… As a coastal kid myself, Luke's music certainly stirs my emotions as well. He's a true West Coast gem.” – Grant Lawrence
