Self-described "Brass House" trio transport their distinctive brand of high-energy dance music from the streets of New York to the Kay Meek stage
Making energizing instrumental music that combines avant-garde jazz, dance music, punk rock and other traditions, Too Many Zooz started their career busking on the New York subway back in 2013.
Growing into a global phenomenon, their résumé is ripe with inspired collaborations. The group appeared on Beyoncé's track “Daddy Lessons” from her 2016 LP Lemonade and performed live on stage with Beyoncé and The Chicks at the 2016 Country Music Association Awards.
Baritone saxophonist Leo "Leo P" Pellegrino, renowned for pulling out some impressive dance moves on stage, trumpeter Matt "Doe" Muirhead and drummer David "King of Sludge" Parks promise an electric performance to open our 2025/26 season.
"Throughout a night of lively and upbeat music, the band helped to cement their legacy as the torchbearers of the Brass House genre with a set that echoed throughout the streets." – Grateful Web
